What Is a Solo Public Session?
A Solo Public Session is a workaround that puts you in a public GTA Online session by yourself. This lets you run businesses and sell cargo without other players interfering or destroying your goods.
Why It Matters
In GTA Online, selling business goods in a populated session gave a "High Demand" bonus (up to 25% extra). But other players could destroy your cargo, costing you everything. Solo Public Sessions let you sell safely — you lose the High Demand bonus but guarantee your delivery.
How to Get a Solo Public Session
Methods vary by platform:
- PC — Suspend the game process for 8-10 seconds using Task Manager, then resume
- Console — Change MTU settings in network settings (lower MTU = fewer players matched)
- Router — Block specific ports temporarily
When to Use It
- Selling high-value cargo (full warehouses, businesses)
- Grinding Import/Export vehicles
- Sourcing goods without interference
- Any activity where other players are a liability
Limitations
- No High Demand bonus (requires other players in the session)
- Other players can still join eventually (you need to repeat the process)
